Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Oracle PL/SQL Developer to design, develop, and optimize database solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in writing efficient PL/SQL scripts, stored procedures, triggers, and performance tuning. This role requires working closely with application developers, business analysts, and database administrators to ensure data integrity, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and optimize PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, triggers, packages, and views.
• Design and implement complex database solutions that support business applications.
• Optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL scripts for better performance and efficiency.
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security in Oracle databases.
• Troubleshoot and debug database performance issues using tools like AWR, ADDM, and SQL Trace.
• Work closely with application developers to integrate backend database logic with frontend applications.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Create and maintain data models, ER diagrams, and database documentation.
• Implement and maintain database security policies and access controls.
• Support database upgrades, migrations, and backup/recovery procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as an Oracle PL/SQL Developer.
• Strong expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming.
• Hands-on experience in writing complex queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
• Proficiency in performance tuning and query optimization techniques.
• Experience with Oracle database versions 11g, 12c, or later.
• Familiarity with Oracle tools like SQL*Plus, TOAD, or SQL Developer.
• Knowledge of data modeling and normalization techniques.
• Experience with ETL processes and database integration.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced development environment.
• Experience in handling large datasets and optimizing database performance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Oracle Forms and Reports.
• Familiarity with Oracle APEX (Application Express).
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases and cloud-based database solutions.
• Exposure to Unix/Linux shell scripting.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
